When it comes to electricity one must consider the amount of usage in the Philippines as compared to other nations. Here in the states we pay more for electricity each month as a result of using a lot more electricity. The rate per kilowatt hour in the Philippines is quite high from what I have been able to gather. If you are using electricity for lights and hardly anything else in the Philippines you will not pay much each month. This is how I understand things although I have not yet moved to the Philippines.

I'm Canadian that traveled to the Philippines ......I can not have 1 week without Filipino food I had 3 pork chops cut up to strips And threw them in the slow cooker with vinegar And soya sauce And made 2 cups of rice .....I miss Taho : (

Delicious, in the Philippines, we also cook kangkong with garlic, onions and ginger, with soy sauce and vinegar and a bit of pepper to taste. Adobong kangkong.

Now a days Pilipino food is gradually known around the globe who visitid the Philippines and mixed Pilipino people.

kangkong is good with calamansi and soy sauce. I always eat leaves like kangkong, talbos ng kamote and etc. with soy sauce and calamansi.
